Xo Haarlem is where dining, drinking and dancing come together in the historic heart of the city. Their menu draws inspiration from across the globe, while weekends transform the space into Xo by Night. Commissioned by Studio Lotto, with Lotte van de Hoef as Creative Director and Isabella Favier as Art Director and Graphic Designer, we developed a new visual identity that captures both sides of Xo — the laid-back daytime energy and the elevated nightlife experience. The result is a brand that moves naturally from lunch to late night, while keeping its character and warmth at the center.

The client envisioned a refreshed identity that could embody both the refined dining atmosphere and the vibrant nightlife energy of Xo Haarlem. They sought a visual language that would seamlessly bridge the transition from day to night while preserving the warmth and character of the space. My role was to translate this duality into a cohesive brand identity that feels effortless, contemporary, and distinctly Xo.
